Nepal Red Cross Society Surkhet Eye Hospital is a leading eye care facility located in Birendranagar Surkhet Capital of Karnali province Nepal. It was established initially as a primary eye care centre (PECC) in 1989 with financial support of Swiss Red Cross to provide eye care service. Considering the burden of blindness in the province and gradually increased the outpatient and surgical services in the province. It was upgraded as a surgical centre in 2009 that was further developed as a secondary eye hospital from January 2015 with the financial support of Swiss Red Cross (SRC), Lindenhof Foundation and Foundation Vision for All. 

At the Nepal Red Cross Society Surkhet eye hospital, we are committed to delivering compassionate and comprehensive eye care to the people of Karnali Province, especially those in underserved and remote areas. Our team of experienced Ophthalmologist, Optometrist, Ophthalmic Assistants and support staff work tirelessly to ensure that every patient receives the best possible treatment and care. The hospital has been attempted continuously to improving the eye health of the people in the region and plays vital role in promoting overall well-being and quality life.

In additionto offering a range of eye care services, including cataract surgery with normal and phacoemulcification, Glaucoma treatment, pediatric refraction, laboratory service, Investigations, Pharmacy and Optical services. Apart from this, hospital has promoted the premium intraocular Lens for natural vision. The hospital also prioritizes community outreach and reach to the unreached population. Through these initiatives, we aim to raise awareness about eye health and prevent avoidable blindness in the region.
