Message From Chairperson

Eye Care is one of the important service area of Nepal Red Cross Society. It has started the eye care service since 1990 as a community eye care center establishing in Birendranagar Surkhet capital of Karnali province. The existing primary eye care service was upgraded to a surgical center in 2009 as per the need. Considering the prevalence of blindness and growing patient flow of the center, the existing service again upgraded to a secondary level Surkhet Eye Hospital with the financial support of Swiss Red Cross (SRC). Nepal Red Cross Society has spent lots of effort to expand the eye care services in the province. Today as a chairman of this hospital, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to providing high-quality eye care services to the people living in karnali province.  
Our mission is to ensure that every individual get access to affordable and comprehensive eye care, regardless of their socio-economic background. Through our advance technology and experienced staff, we strive to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients.
