Nepal Red Cross Surkhet Eye Hospital started in Jan 2015 having 25 bedded with advanced technology. The hospital provides high quality and affordable services to the needy. Considering the patinets need and comfortability, premium lens implantation cataract surgery, optical dispensing, pharmacy, laboratory and investigation services are available in hospital premises. Annually, the hospital serves more than 100,000 Outpatient care with 4,239 sight restoring surgeries. CECCs are also providing regular primary eye care services in the respective districts and palikas with technical support of SEH.     

Recently, hospital has initiated a specialised Medical Retina & Uveitis Sub-Specialty Service to provide comprehensive care for diseases affecting the retina & intraocular inflammation.
